What does it mean. Well first let me introduce myself. I am Naomi I am a mother of 3 Children. In 2008 I started making cakes. It kind of just fell upon me, the business of cakes, after I made some cupcakes for my husband and his work friends. Then I made some for my sons school, and then I made a few for friends. I was amazed how these little cake "parcels" brought so much joy to people. Soon orders started to come in, and then I was teaching students in cupcake decorating workshops. I remember when I was asked to make my very first wedding cake. I thought to my self "Is this really happening?". I remember the nerves in making it, the butterflies, the long drive to deliver it, and I remember arriving at the reception venue, heart racing excited and nervous... This is something I call "cake anxiety". The cake was later eaten and enjoyed by guests, and receiving the feedback from the Bride the very next day was beautiful... After this point I knew there was no turning back. I was addicted, addicted to the challenge, and also the "cake anxiety". I had somehow fallen in love with making cakes. So you can imagine when I decided to venture into event styling, dessert tables, lolly buffets in mid 2011 there was a whole new addiction. I soon realised that I had found something I was truly passionate about. It was the perfect package of all things sweet, including sweet love, sweet cakes, sweet sweets, sweet treats...
